June is Pork Month – Calgary

As part of ‘June is Pork Month’ celebrations, ‘Passion for Pork’ and Alberta Pork co-sponsored the 4th Annual Pig & Pinot Festival, June 18, at the Hotel Arts, Calgary. Thirteen of Calgary’s top restaurants competed for the prestigious Divine Swine Award which was won by Alison Bieber and her team from the Black Pig Bistro and their award-winning Edamame, Broad, Green & White Beans with Roasted Pork Belly and Crispy Skin!

The city’s most talented sommeliers helped guests sip, swish, and savour a global selection of both red and white pinot – all in support of Calgary Meals on Wheels.
