Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) butter
  •  (335 mL) brown sugar
  •  (170 mL) corn syrup
  • 11 cups (2.8 L) plain popped popcorn
  • 1 package thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Place butter, sugar and corn syrup in a large, heavy pot and bring to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat to medium and continue to stir the bubbling mixture for about 15 minutes.

Remove from heat, stir in bacon and popcorn, ensuring that the popcorn is evenly coated in syrup mixture. Spoon mixture onto cookie sheet and pat down. Allow to cool and break into pieces.

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
