It’s All Things Pork and More at Brewery and The Beast
A Festival of Meat at Brewery and The Beast
In BC if you love local meat, you are bound to have gone to a BBQ or two this summer. For those who love beer, there was likely a few six packs, growlers or even kegs in the mix, and for the pros, a ticket for Brewery in The Beast, combining both loves, would have been a no brainer.
Held in Vancouver in July and September in Victoria, both Islanders and Mainlanders enjoyed Brewery & The Beast this year, when more than 45 of top restaurants got grilling. The meat-centric festival is full of all types of barbecue and many sips of Phillips Brewing Company’s beer poured from their legendary 35-tap “Gypsy” wagon.
Brewery & The Beast’s celebration focuses on eating and drinking locally and most meat is supplied by Two Rivers Specialty Meats, who source the highest quality product from farmers and producers in B.C. and Alberta. Let’s take a look at some of the local pork on display!
