An award-winning cookbook author, illustrator and someone I happened to have eaten bacon with has started an awesome clothing line called Food on Your Shirt.

Pierre Lamielle and his partner opened the website this week, featuring eye-catching designs like Bacon Ninja: “If a bacon ninja is hunting you and you smell bacon, it’s already too late.”

Naturally, that design is part of four called the Bacon Warriors “who represent history’s most deadly delicious fighters.”

I’m excited to see that the T-shirts come in kids and women’s sizes — not just shapeless L or XL men’s. Yay!

Lamielle’s special brand of humour and illustrations won him a prestigious World Gourmand best Illustrated Cookbook award in 2009 for Kitchen Scraps: A Humourous Illustrated Cookbook.
