Swine & Dine YEG at The Common January 20th
I can hardly wait… the first Swine and Dine of 2015 is less than a week away! On Tuesday January 20th at 7 p.m. I will be walking on over to The Common where Chef Jesse Morrison will be treating pork-loving patrons to this four course dinner for $40:
FIRST COURSE
pork trotter rillette with piccalilli and greens
SECOND COURSE
stuffed roast pork shoulder sandwich with a sweet carrot and apricot soup
and ancho dusted pork crackling
THIRD COURSE
Asian pork patties with sprouts, herbs, peanuts and miso
FOURTH COURSE
prosciutto sorbet with black liquorice toffee and melon
Swine and Dine is a opportunity for local chefs to design a menu incorporating Alberta pork from appetizer to dessert, and dinner at The Common with Chef Morrison is a culinary experience you do not want to miss.
