Swine & Dine January 15th – Chef Doreen Prei at the Edmonton Petroleum Club
If you were at Christmas in November you got the inside scoop that Swine and Dine (the 2014 edition) was going to kick off at the Edmonton Petroleum Club. So here we go – time to detoxify if you overdosed on turkey this holiday season – because it is time to pork out.
On Wednesday January 15th Chef Doreen Prei will be hosting the first Swine and Dine of the year – a six course dinner featuring Alberta Pork from appetizer to dessert. Since I am celiac and Chef Prei is used to accommodating my gluten-free diet, the dinner with be suitable for gluten-free diners as well!
The cost is $75 including tax and tip, and sommelier Aleksandar Milic of the Edmonton Petroleum Club will have optional wine pairings for the evening. This event is open to the public but remember you should be an adventurous eater who enjoys pork, pork, and then some more pork.
