Pork-Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 100 g (¼ lb) ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) julienned carrots
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) sliced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) salt
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) pepper
  • Cabbage leaves

 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients except cabbage leaves.

Place 2 Tbsp (30 mL) filling on a cabbage leaf and roll up to secure. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, seam-side down. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Bake cabbage rolls in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 160°F (71°C).
