Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Insert about ½ tsp (2 mL) goat cheese in each date. (It's OK for the cheese to be showing.) Wrap each date with a half-slice of bacon and place with the seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Bake for 5 minutes, then turn the dates over and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly; the cheese will be hot! Serve warm.
