Porkapalooza BBQ Festival on this Weekend in Edmonton
Can you smell it? That glorious smell of meat on the BBQ?
That’s because Porkapalooza BBQ Festival, the Meatiest Festival in Edmonton, if just a few days away. Pick up your friends, pack up the family and join me for a weekend of great tasting BBQ, live music, and cooking demonstrations on the main stage by BBQ experts Danielle Dimovski of Diva Q and Brian Misko of House of Q.
You’ll want to check out the 30 teams competing in the official Kansas City Barbeque Society cookoff, with official presentation and judging happening on Sunday.
In addition to the beer gardens, local food vendors Big City Sandwich, Bully Food Truck, Casa Doce, Fat Frank’s, Fired Up BBQ, Incredible Edibles, K & K Foodliner, Pampa Brazilian Grill, Smokehouse BBQ, S’WICH Food Truck, The Popcorn Shoppe, Tres Carnales will be selling some delicious BBQ dishes on Saturday and Sunday.
Plus, there is still time to purchase tickets to the Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hawrelak Park served up by the Edmonton Petroleum Club. Adults $25.00 ea. Children (12 and under) $15.00 ea and the menu includes BBQ pulled pork, waffles, tortillas, breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, patatas bravas and fruit. Click here for tickets.
