Fort Edmonton’s Harvest Fair and Bacon Fest

What better way to celebrate the final long weekend of the summer than at Fort Edmonton Park’s Harvest Fair? The party starts Friday night, Sept. 2, with Bacon Fest celebrating ‘one of the greatest foods on earth” (we agree) complete with 10 local restaurants serving their best bacon fare, bacon trivia, a bacon-themed comedy act, live entertainment, the Bacon Meister and drinks at the Sow Belly Bar.

On Saturday night there will be an old-fashioned Harvest Dinner and Dance for the whole family including a BBQ buffet (with a whole roasted pig), beer garden and live music. The Midway will be open and the dance floor will be hopping. There’ll be square dancing, horse-drawn wagon rides, bonfires, storytelling and more.

Join pie eating contests, bingo and other traditional games and entertainment. End the summer the good old fashioned way! Tickets for both events https://www.fortedmontonpark.ca/
