Downtown Swine and Dine – YEG
Summer is here…what better way to enjoy it than to walk around down town and eat pork?
Inspired by a conversation with Chef Cory Welsch, I’m happy to introduce the first (of which I hope will be many) Swine and Dine’s dinner crawls. Instead of a pub crawl, it’s a pork-themed grub crawl to three restaurants in Edmonton’s down town core.
On Tuesday July 3, 2012 you can enjoy a trio of pork dishes for $45 from some chefs with a real passion for Alberta pork:
Chef Andrew Cowan – Hundred Bar & Kitchen
Chef Doreen Prei & Chef David Omar– Zinc Restaurant @ the Art Gallery of Alberta
Chef Cory Welsch – Moriarty’s Bistro and Bar
Dining patrons must be over the age of 18.
Here’s the deal
1. Meet at Zinc Restaurant for a dish from Chef Doreen Prei
2. Then we walk over to Hundred Bar & Kitchen for some a Southern Pork dish from Andrew Cowan
3. Finally we head to Moriarty’s Bistro and Bar for dessert from Chef Cory Welcsh
