Alberta Pork and Charcut Chefs Take on NYC and Chicago
We know that Charcut Roast House boasts two of the finest chefs in Calgary – right? Well, now they will be linking up with Alberta Pork to promote our wonderful product at two food-centric events in New York City and Chicago! Charchut co-owners & co-chefs John Jackson and Connie DeSousa are – by invitation – working both events and excited by the prospect of showcasing Alberta Pork to the celebrity chefs, consumers and journalist in attendance! So are we!!
The duo will be attending Taste Talks, a three-day food festival in Chicago, and preparing a sampling feast for numerous world-renowned chefs. From there they head to NYC for the 6th annual Food Network's Wine & Food Festival, considered the most exciting culinary festival in North America. John and Connie willl be preparing their signature pig head mordatella with brassica mustard for 1800 guests at Pier 94. This is the first time chefs from Canada's prairies have been invited to attend these prestigious events so we're super-stoked and proud of our Alberta pair – they will be cooking with and talking up Alberta Pork to a new audience and possibly getting THEM exicited to come back to Alberta for a more extensive foodie tour.
